VanVed vs Zoho Campaigns
for Marketing
Why businesses choose VanVed over Zoho Campaigns
Because campaigns go out on your own mail provider there is no contact tier to climb and no monthly send allowance, and the per-recipient delivery log keeps the provider's own refusal text so a failed send is diagnosable rather than a number. The click redirect is also properly guarded — it will only forward to a link the campaign genuinely shipped with, or to your own domain — which is a real safety property, not a marketing one.
Capability by capability
Every row below is what our 2026 research found — including the rows we lose.
| Capability | VanVed | Zoho Campaigns |
|---|---|---|
| Email campaigns that really send | Yes, on your own SMTP credentials, with every recipient's outcome recorded | Yes, on Zoho's infrastructure |
| Channels | Email only for campaigns. WhatsApp exists in the CRM, one lead at a time, not as a campaign | Email, SMS and WhatsApp campaigns in one builder, with per-channel dashboards |
| DLT-compliant SMS in India | Not offered | Yes — entity ID, sender ID and DLT template ID handled explicitly for Indian numbers |
| Unsubscribe and opt-out | An opt-out link in every campaign that really deactivates the subscriber — but no List-Unsubscribe header and no topic-level preferences | Standard, with list and topic-level preferences |
| Open and click analytics | Yes, with an open-redirect guard so a click link can only go where the campaign actually pointed | Yes on all tiers, advanced analytics on paid |
| Segmentation | Dynamic segments on tag or join date only, resolved fresh at send time | Behavioural and multi-criteria segments; contact scoring on Professional |
| Automation and journeys | None in marketing — a campaign is one send | Basic workflows on Standard; full journeys with cart abandonment and re-enrolment on Professional |
| Contacts shared with the CRM | No — marketing subscribers and CRM contacts are separate tables with no link between them | Syncs from Zoho CRM, Google Contacts and Shopify |
| Contact limits | No contact ceiling and no send quota | Free is 2,000 contacts and 6,000 emails a month; paid tiers priced by contact count |
Where Zoho Campaigns is ahead of us today
For Indian marketing specifically, Zoho Campaigns is simply further along. It runs email, DLT-compliant SMS and WhatsApp campaigns out of one builder and handles the entity, sender and template IDs TRAI requires; we send email only, and our WhatsApp is a one-lead-at-a-time CRM action. It has journey automation, contact scoring and behavioural segmentation against our tag-or-join-date filter. It syncs contacts from a CRM; our subscribers and our own CRM contacts are two unconnected tables, so the same person has to be entered twice. Our campaigns do now carry an unsubscribe link, but without the List-Unsubscribe header or the list and topic preferences Zoho has had since the beginning.
We publish this because a comparison that only flatters us is worth nothing to you. If one of these gaps is the thing you actually need, Zoho Campaigns may well be the better buy.
