VanVed vs Odoo
for Inventory

Stock you can trust because nothing edits it directly.
Where VanVed is ahead

Why businesses choose VanVed over Odoo

VanVed is inventory a small business can actually turn on in an afternoon: one toggle, a location, an item, and the ledger is live — no routes, operation types or valuation layers to configure first. Because the same tenant already runs POS, billing, CRM and payroll, a sale deducts stock without an integration, and there is no per-user bill for the extra apps.

Where Odoo is ahead of us today

For a real warehouse Odoo is simply a deeper product. It has serial numbers and GS1 traceability, putaway rules, multi-step receipts and deliveries, wave picking, a barcode app that drives every warehouse operation, and perpetual valuation that posts journal entries — none of which VanVed has. VanVed's locations are flat, its scanning is lookup-only, and its valuation never reaches the ledger accounts.

We publish this because a comparison that only flatters us is worth nothing to you. If one of these gaps is the thing you actually need, Odoo may well be the better buy.
