VanVed vs HubSpot
for CRM
Why businesses choose VanVed over HubSpot
VanVed charges for the organization, not the seat — you can put every rep, every manager and every back-office user on it without the bill moving, and HubSpot's Professional tier alone is ₹1.25 lakh of mandatory onboarding before the first seat. WhatsApp sending works on the plain CRM instead of requiring a second Hub, custom stages now let a tenant shape the pipeline to its own process, and the same login already holds quotations, GST invoicing, projects and memberships, so a won deal becomes an invoice or a project without an integration.
Capability by capability
Every row below is what our 2026 research found — including the rows we lose.
| Capability | VanVed | HubSpot |
|---|---|---|
| Companies, contacts, deals, tasks and notes | Yes, with a lead-to-deal conversion that keeps qualification | Yes |
| Pipeline stages | Yes now — Pipeline/PipelineStage models replace the six fixed stages; rename, reorder, add or remove stages per organization from a Pipelines settings tab, kanban board runs against the dynamic list | Multiple pipelines, fully custom stages (15 pipelines on Starter, 100 on Professional) |
| Custom fields on records | Yes on Deals now — CrmFieldDefinition custom fields with required-field validation, managed from a Custom Fields admin tab; Contacts and Companies still have none | Yes, thousands of properties; custom objects at Enterprise |
| WhatsApp from a contact or deal | Yes — sends through your own Meta Cloud API credentials, every attempt logged with the provider's own error | Native, but only if you also buy Marketing or Service Hub Pro; capped at 1,000 template messages a month |
| Workflow automation | Yes — lead created, deal created or deal moved to a stage, then send email, create a task or reassign the owner | Yes, far deeper — 50 restricted workflows on Starter, 300 fully custom on Professional |
| AI help with follow-ups | Drafts a follow-up email from the real record; it never sends without you | Agent Hub — prospecting, notetaker, deal summaries — metered in credits you top up |
| Sending email from the CRM | No — no inbox sync, no templates, no sequences. Automation can send; a rep cannot | Two-way Gmail/Outlook sync from free; sequences at Professional |
| Who can see whose pipeline | Two levels only: an org admin sees everything, everyone else sees only their own records | Teams at Professional, nested hierarchies and field-level control at Enterprise |
| What you pay | One subscription for the organization, priced by how many modules you switch on — sales seats are free | Per seat: ₹585/mo Starter, ₹7,497/mo Professional plus ₹1,25,000 one-time onboarding |
Where HubSpot is ahead of us today
HubSpot is still the more configurable CRM. It has custom properties and custom objects on every record; we now have custom fields, but only on Deals — Contacts and Companies are still fixed-schema. It syncs a rep's actual mailbox and runs sequences off it — our CRM cannot send a single email from a contact record, only a workflow rule can. And its permission model has real teams and hierarchies, where ours knows only 'org admin' and 'the person who owns this row'.
We publish this because a comparison that only flatters us is worth nothing to you. If one of these gaps is the thing you actually need, HubSpot may well be the better buy.
